His quality shone through at stud as well!

Over the course of his stud career, Badger sired 46 American champions, making him the second leading sire among American Keeshonden. Three of his offspring have earned the Hall of Fame award, the highest honor available to an American showdog. His grandpups and great-grandpups are carrying on his legacy of beauty and performance.

Here's the Grand Old Man at the 2000 KCA National Specialty, where he won the Veteran's Class, Best Stud Dog, and 1st Select Award. Not bad for nine years old (and he loved every minute of it!)
This lovely oil painting by Chris Blom shows Badger and some of his family. Clockwise from left: Badger; Ch. Windrift's Hot Mail (grandson); Danish Ch. Windrift's Sweet Blues (daughter); Ch. Windrift's Stylistic Blues (mother); and Ch. Windrift's Right Choice HOF ROM (daughter). From the collection of Joanne Reed.
