First results in from the Mt. Hood specialty: Ch. Windrift's Face Value (Gretl) won the Altered Veterans Sweeps at both shows. Newcomer Windrift's Outback Betty, at just 6 months old, went Reserve to three majors and finished the weekend with a 4-point major of her own! Owner-handled by Debra Gunn.

January 2012: Lots of excitement at the KCSC Specialty weekend! Windrift's Negotiating The Tango (Lokee) went WD/BOW from the 9-12 puppy dog class for his first major in the morning. Windrift's Moondancer for Wildheart and Windrift's Outback Betty won WB and RWB respectively. In the afternoon, Windrift's Coxswain Times Square earned his second major and finished his championship. GCh. Windrift's Follow The Money (BILL-E) was Select Dog in the morning and Best of Breed in the afternoon, for his first Best in Specialty Show. Ch. Windrift's Rock Star was Select Bitch at both specialties.

Moving on to the Orange Empire Kennel Club shows, Lokee won another major on Saturday. Betty took Best of Winners for 3 points (her third major!). BILL-E and Star were the Select dog and bitch. On Sunday, BILL-E won Best of Breed and a Group 4.

BILL-E made a clean sweep at the Skyline/Del Valle cluster, winning BOB all four days over the two top Keeshonds in the country! In the process he picked up another Group placement, and finished his Grand Championship with a major win. BILL-E followed up at the Sacramento Valley Dog Fanciers with two BOBs and a Group 3.

October 9, 2011: The last shows of 2011 were completed in Hong Kong today. I'm very proud to announce that Chaz has finished the year as the #1 Dog ALL BREEDS!!!!! This is the second time in the history of our breed in any country that a Keeshond ended up #1.

September 2011: At the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club show, Ch. Windrift's Follow The Money (BILL-E) won a Group 2 and a Group 4! He took the summer off to relax, but is back now and better than ever!
September 2011: At the Rocky Mountain Keeshond Club specialty weekend, Cash was Select Dog at both specialties and won Best of Breed at the all-breed show. This gave him 15 points and 3 majors toward his Grand Championship - an outstanding performance for any dog, let alone one who's 10 years old! His son Jackson (Windrift's Moon Emperor) won three five-point majors for his championship!

Star won another Best Of Breed over six specials (!!!!!) at the Santa Barbara shows. She's well on her way to her Grand Championship. Ch. Windrift's Mo Money also won a BOB, and Keesbrook at Windrift (Brook) won WB all three days!
Chaz went home to Hong Kong and blew them away! He won two Group 1s, a Best in Show and a Reserve Best in Show. He is now the #1 dog ALL BREEDS!

"Moby and I attended the 2011 Golden State Sieger this weekend....It's a show weekend (4 shows) held by the International All Breeds Canine Association (IABCA). The judges really liked him. We came home with 3 Group 1s, a Group 2, and a Reserve Best in Show!

Oh....he's now an International Champion, too!"

July 2011: This has been a busy month, with shows in Ferndale, Ventura, and Carmel. Tracker finished his championship after only five shows, undefeated. Rock Star finished with a 3-point major at the Del Monte Kennel Club. Chaz picked up several Best of Breeds and got his Grand Championship in only eight shows before heading back home to Hong Kong. And Jordy racked up several BOBs and Group placements to climb back on top of the Keeshond standings!

June 2011, Woofstock cluster: Ch. Windrift's Money Talks (Chaz) won Best of Breed all four days, earning 18 points and four majors toward his Grand Championship. Bopper (Windrift's Coxswain Times Square) was Best of Winners on Thursday for one point. "New kid on the block" Tracker (Windrift's Sound Track) won BOW on Saturday and Sunday for four points in his first weekend out. Finally, Danny daughter Vanderblom Sassafrass, only seven months old, got Winners twice and Reserve twice to pick up her first two points on her first show weekend!

Instead of going to the National as planned, Keeten (Ch. Windrift's Dancing On The River) stayed home and won his first Group 1! He's on his way to the Hall of Fame!

National News: Ch. Windrift's Southern Star (Audrey) won Best in Puppy Sweepstakes at the National, then went on to win Best Opposite Sex at the Buckeye regional specialty! Very exciting for a little girl who's only been finished for a few weeks! Audrey immediately went on to complete her Grand Championship. And speaking of little girls, isn't Ashley cute?

Windrift's Rock Star placed at the Regional and National. Chaz (Ch. Windrift's Money Talks) won a Select Award at the National. Danny was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Cash received his ROMX.

March 2011, Hanford: Ch. Windrift's Follow The Money (BILL-E) went Best of Breed twice over a nationally-ranked special. BILL-E and owner/handler Barb Ryan are making steady progress toward his Grand Championship.
February 2011, San Jose: Jordy was a big winner again, getting Best of Breed at both Nor-Cal specialties for a total of FOUR Specialty BOBs in less than a month! The youngsters did well too: Windrift's Line Dancer won two more majors. He now has 14 points and four majors! One point to go! He will then go to Sweden to join Aurora. Windrift's Rock Star won Best in Sweeps and won 2 more single points. Ashley showed her and defeated a champion bitch for BOS and gained one more point. Star now has nine points, including a specialty major.
